Trans Julius 2019: 4 days race, 100 competitors and local culinary
The 3rd edition of the MTB enduro race Trans Julius is taking place from 20 to 23 June 2019 starting in Cerkno (1st day) and continuing in Soča Valley and weekend we will spend in Bohinj. 4 different types of trails, local culinary after each day and special travel experience with car train and bike train is included as in previous years. A unique and unforgettable MTB enduro adventure for all ages and genders with just one mission: to make the biggest smile under your helmet!
Program & rules
DAY 1: Cerkno
Trans Julius 2019 is starting in Cerkno with new routes for one daily and one night stage. As fresh as daisy your legs are getting heavily into work to conquer the Cerkno trails. There will be enough time to get the power back between daily and night stages. Both stages have fast sections as well as technically demanding one which will need all your attention.
2 stages (descent: 8.5 km)
DAY 2: Soča Valley
In the morning of the 2nd day we are going with cars from Cerkno to Most na Soči (about 30 minutes drive). The location Most na Soči has a reputation as one of the sweetest stages from the 1st Trans Julius in 2017. This stage is more demanding from technical perspective. In the afternoon we are going with a car train to Bohinj and at the evening prepare for the Trans Julius concert.
1 stage (descent: 4 km)
DAY 3: Bohinj
First day in Bohinj a new route is waiting for you! It is offering a true enduro diverse terrain. This stage is for sure one of the aces of Trans Julius 2019. We are not hiding it will be a challenge, but the view from the starting gate at the top will give you additional motivation to conquer the trail!
1 stage (descent: 9 km)
DAY 4: Bohinj
The last day of Trans Julius 2019 is starting with morning stage (individual start), mostly flow trail with a few technical parts. The last stage is mass start with a finish line in the center of Bohinjska Bistrica. Final ceremony and trophy presentation for the best riders.
