First day of competition 80 riders got together in Cerkno. After prologue there were 3 stages, including night stage. Second day Trans Julius 2019 stopped in Most na Soči and in the afternoon we moved with car train to Bohinj for the next two days. Trans Julius concert on Friday night with Slovenian indie rock band Fed Horses extended into early morning also due to a bad weather forecast and the Saturday’s stage has been canceled but riders were able to test totally new double black line in the morning and late afternoon. Local brewery Lintvern which produced special edition of Trans Julius beer 2019 took care of proper hydration after exhausting riding.

On the 4th day riders went from Bohinjska Bistrica to Podbrdo to explore the longest natural trail in the region of the Julian Alps. In the late afternoon the final ceremony took place at the main market in Bohinjska Bistrica and of course final act of Trans Julius 2019 was “cake attack” :)

This year Trans Julius got the highest number of women riders since we started with Trans Julius in 2017. Even more, 25% of riders were women, which is a really good motivation for us to create some new crazy projects for women :) stay tuned! :)
